Steven Veneman

Steven Veneman is a Service Provider Product Marketing Director at Juniper Networks. Steve is responsible for Domain Go-To-Market, Communications, Customer Facing Programs, and Marketing Operations. Since joining Juniper in 2008, my responsibilities have also included portfolio marketing management for Juniper’s Junos SDK, Mobile Backhaul Product Line, Circuit to Packet Solutions, Identity and Policy Management Solutions and LN1000 series secure mobile router. Before joining Juniper Networks I was a Product Line Manager and Product Marketing Manager for Intel’s, formerly Wind River, software development tools group. I have held multiple Business Development Management positions at Lucent Technologies, Hewlett-Packard, and Agilent Technologies, focusing on IXC and ILEC account development, IP Services solutions, and the fiber optic semiconductor market. My engineering background includes positions at Scientific Atlanta, Fiber Optic Systems, and Philips Broadband Networks, where I developed RF spectrum communications equpiment for transport over copper and fiber infrastructure. I am named in three patents, and hold a Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Math from the University of Hartford, and am proudly a member of Eta Kappa Nu.
