Which is why I’m excited to share that Juniper Mist™ Government Cloud is now FedRAMP-authorized at the ‘Moderate’ level, meeting all cloud security requirements to assist federal agencies as they accelerate their digital transformations. And I’m especially proud and honored that we achieved this milestone with one of the most important agencies in government as our sponsoring agency, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Critical services, delivered with security assured
Government agency missions are complex and, not surprisingly, so are their networking demands. Agencies are seeking to replace legacy switching and controller architectures at federal facilities with Juniper’s Mist AI-Native Networking Platform. The momentum of this authorization is an exciting validation of the AI innovations in our hardware and the AI leadership of Mist.
What does this mean for agencies?
Juniper Mist Government Cloud is now approved for use by federal agencies units to optimize user experiences and simplify operations across both wired and wireless technologies within their headquarters and branch environments. ‘Moderate’ level systems account for nearly 80% of cloud service provider applications that receive FedRAMP authorization. It is most appropriate for cloud service offerings where the loss of confidentiality, integrity, and availability would result in serious adverse effects on an agency’s operations, assets, or individuals.
