When brainstorming how to announce this year’s Elevate Awards winners, virtually and during a global pandemic, I kept circling back to the importance of pausing—of taking time out of our daily tasks and busy-ness to reflect on (and celebrate) what’s important.
Every year since 2017, Juniper’s top executives have paused at the end of the year and happily dedicated their time to recognizing some of our most innovative customers from around the globe via our Elevate Awards program. Our customers are a top priority and deserve to be honored for not only their incredible innovation, but also for the difference they make in their organizations, industries and communities.
Recognizing Global Customer Innovation
This year’s winners represent a large and highly-qualified slate of nominees. Choosing a winner in each category wasn’t easy, as the range of entries demonstrated almost unlimited vision, efficient execution and highly impactful results.
And the nominees represented nearly every geography in the world—from Israel to Australia to the Bahamas to Canada and across Europe and the United States. They include rural internet providers, large cities, public universities, multinational enterprises and healthcare centers.
From providing fast Wi-Fi in COVID testing tents, to enabling worldwide scientific research, to protecting workers, to improving education – our winners enable the connections that matter most.
We celebrated all of the honorees at a virtual ceremony on December 8. Colonel Chris Hadfield, globally renowned astronaut and musician, inspired our attendees with his perspective on pursuing big dreams and taking risks for the benefit of humankind.
Please join me in congratulating these deserving winners at #JuniperElevate. And perhaps even pause to remember how you’re able to work remotely, shop for essentials, watch news and be entertained and receive critical services from your city. It’s organizations like these—and OK, some Juniper technology, too—that connect the world.
Congratulations, 2020 Elevate Award Winners!
